'The Four Seasons'

Antonio Vivaldi achieved the high summit of Baroque concerto composition in 1723 with 'Il cimento dell' armonia e dell' inventione' ('The Contest between Harmony and Invention') of which 'The Four Seasons' are part.  Never surpassed.
