A FEW WORDS FROM OUR FOUNDER
I’m going to be honest with you...
Building MUSICA has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but also one of the proudest. Before we opened, I spent months trying to raise the funding we needed to bring the vision to life. I believed completely in creating a live music venue where the audience controls the soundtrack of the night and people genuinely want to stay all evening.

We opened without the full funding behind us, so I put everything I had into making it happen. My family backed me too, and when costs went beyond what we could afford, I stepped in and helped build parts of MUSICA myself.
​
It hasn’t been easy, but seeing what MUSICA has become for people made it worth it. Since opening, we’ve welcomed over 25,000 guests, built a 4.6 star rating, and seen more than 35,000 song votes from people becoming part of the experience themselves.
​
Now we’re raising £100,000 to help secure the future of MUSICA and build on what’s already working. More live acts, bigger experiences, longer opening hours, and giving Bracknell more of the nights out people are asking for.

Right now, like many independent venues, we have to be reactive. Rising costs and tight budgets mean we often have to make decisions based on what we can afford in the moment, rather than what we know people want from us. With the right funding behind us, we can finally move from simply keeping things going to building MUSICA into everything we know it can be.
​
The money raised will allow us to bring in more live acts consistently, expand our entertainment offering with experiences like shuffleboard, improve production and atmosphere throughout the venue, and extend opening hours to give Bracknell more of the nights out people are asking for. It also gives us the flexibility to plan bigger events properly, invest in the team behind the scenes, and create the kind of venue people keep coming back to week after week.

This isn’t about changing MUSICA. It’s about giving us the stability and flexibility to do more of what people already love and continue building something Bracknell can be proud of.
